Course Description

This comprehensive overview of the ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System (EMS) Standard examines the language and intent of the stated requirements. It provides a foundation upon which additional levels of activity, from initial system design, through implementation and maintenance, to review and continual improvement, can be built.

This course will explain the changes to ISO 14001, its adoption of Annex SL and its ability to integrate with other management systems.

Participants engage in a series of interactive, hands-on activities that simplify the transition from an understanding of stated requirements to implementation approaches that are appropriate for different organizational situations.


All personnel, with emphasis on Management, Supervisors, Auditors of Management Systems, and Quality Assurance personnel.
